An Appreciation of Northern Wisconsin

We went a road trip into the woods of northern Wisconsin to get a change of scenery. We camped on a lake, we walked in the woods. That’s a lot of Ws.

We spent the evening watching the light on the lake fade from bright sunset to gray. There comes a time each evening when everything turns to black and white.

We went on two hikes. Wisconsin does well with it’s trail systems. Lots of access points and trails to hike, ski, bike, or run.

We found some fresh Chicken of the Woods! I took a meal’s worth, and left the rest.
